Ceramics Prints Foldout
vowels Team
This spread, a breath of light imagery in an otherwise dense ceramics hobbyist magazine, was made up by taking inked impressions of fragments of pottery. The act of preservation and cataloging has changing radically over the decades, where now we can quickly take out our phone and fully scan or document an object, before we'd be lucky to be skilled to capture something with pen and paper. Otherwise, inventive collectors of knowledge would find other ways to preserve an image, a pattern, or an idea.
